What’s a kid to do all summer? Your local library has a summer full of fun! One great program will be magical storyteller Scott Humston (pictured). Scott is a full-time, professional, award-winning family entertainer. This summer, thousands of children will watch and listen as he shares the fun of reading and the importance of character.
Scott Humston, The South’s Library Professional, will be at the Collierville Burch Library on Monday, June 19, 2017 at 10:00 am.
Humston has been sharing positive messages in public schools and libraries across America for more than 15 years. His nationally acclaimed Pro Kids Show has been seen by more than 1.1 million students. Humston has been a featured performer at the White House Easter Egg Roll in Washington, D.C.
Humston’s show is a live action motivational program growing out of 20 years of success in elementary schools across the United States. Through the use of custom music, amazing magic, hilarious comedy, storytelling and audience involvement, students learn the importance of honesty, respect, self-esteem, cooperation and responsibility.
Reviewers have described the show as “refreshingly wholesome”, “hilariously entertaining”, and “an experience no one should miss”. They call Humston himself a “an instant best buddy”, “a general all-around friend of children”, and a “combination of many things: magician, slapstick comedian, singer and storyteller”.
