Recently, a Collierville resident, Krishna, moved from the Town. But she felt strongly enough about her experiences at one Collierville destination to send a hand-written thank you note to the staff. That destination was the Collierville Burch Library.
“Our tiny twins now know what a library is, and the Burch library will stay with them forever,” Krishna wrote. “It has helped sow seeds in their hearts and minds for the marvelous world of books.”
Krishna went on to compliment the library on having such a diverse range of activities under one roof. (Upcoming in June and July: Alzheimer’s workshop; storyteller Scott Humston; craft beer brewing; mystery author Vickie Fee; free vision screening; free yoga classes and Harry Potter’s World exhibit!)
Krishna’s letter officially, but reluctantly, closed her family’s account at the library.
“We miss the Burch library very much,” wrote Krishna. “It will always have a special place in our hearts.”
The Collierville Burch Library is open Monday through Thursday from 10 am to 8 pm; Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm, and Sundays from 1 pm to 5 pm. For more information, call 901-457-2600 or go to colliervillelibrary.org.
