The Collierville Burch Library (CBL) has gone mobile.
The library’s new mobile app allows mobile users easier access to all the resources available to them on the library’s website.
"As our world becomes increasingly mobile, we saw the addition of a mobile app as a critical component of the Collierville Burch Library’s customer service,” said Lisa Plath, CBL’s Digital Services Librarian. “We know that over 40% of patrons currently access our website through mobile devices. We anticipate the mobile app will make it easier for them to search the library catalog, renew books, register for events, and book study rooms. People are busy; they want convenience. We are confident that the mobile app will simplify the library experience for Collierville Burch Library users."
The app was created by Boopsie, Inc. You can find it by typing “Collierville Library” into the App Store search field.
Once the app is installed on your mobile device, the following options are available: Catalog, My Account, Barcode Wallet (this is where you can store library cards for easy access), Tennessee READS, Online Resources (digital books and magazines, homework help and literary criticism resources), BookLook (book reviews), Events and Room Booking, Social Media Connections, and Ask a Librarian.
