The Building and Codes Division is responsible for the administration and enforcement of all building and licensed trade work performed in the Town of Collierville. The Town adopted the 2012 International Code Council family of codes on March 1, 2012.

The Plan Reviews and Construction Permitting services are for swimming pools, fences, new buildings, additions, alterations and repairs. These services ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws related to building safety, disabled access and energy efficiency.
Inspection services ensures compliance with approved plans, local, state, and federal building code laws. This team of certified professionals also conducts public outreach, administers technical assistance and performs thousands of inspections per year ensuring structural integrity, fire safety, sanitation, disabled access and energy efficiency of new and existing buildings for the Town of Collierville. Inspections are typically provided within 24 hours of the request.
