Mike Russell was born in Water Valley, Mississippi.  In 1971, Mike moved to Collierville while his father was starting RUSDUN FARMS, INC.  Mike attended Rossville Academy and graduated in 1980, he later attended Memphis State and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business and also a Master’s in Business Administration.

Mr. Russell has been involved in many community activities including:

American Cancer Society's Relay for Life

(Chairman 1997 & 98) 

Leadership Collierville 1996

(Board 96-97) and (President 98-99) 

Collierville Chamber of Commerce Board

(1998-2001) 

Fayette County Education Foundation (Founder/President 2003). 

Mr. Russell is the President of RUSDUN FARMS and owner of Russell Development, LLC. 

Mike is married to Aven, they have two daughters, Maribeth and Rachel.
